Introducing the new Bergstrom Originals

There was a fantastic turnout last Thursday at Bergstrom Originals’ Spring Launch Party - sipping cocktails amid fresh cut flowers, the crowd shopped and chatted, admiring the first pick of the new collection’s bright patterns and floral prints. Toward the end of the evening, everyone was waiting in anticipation for the night’s coveted prize pack draw. The lucky winners took home swag bags from Bergstrom Originals, several bouquets generously donated by Quince Flowers and their new QT flower delivery van, and a magnificent shoulder bag donated by Fly London - purveyors of some of our favourite footwear this season.

 

If you missed coming to the event, however, here’s your chance to catch up on all that’s new this season!

Inside our retail location, we not only launched the new Spring/Summer Collection - but we also revealed our freshly finished renovations! Over the course of six short weeks, the back of our retail space (what was formerly Christina’s in-house design studio) has been transformed from the old workshop into a bright, inviting space to enhance your shopping experience. The new design studio (just two short blocks away) will be featured in a future blog post!

Beside a sleek seating area for your shopping companions, the crisp white walls reflected in the broad mirrors turn the corridor into your personal runway. Four newly built change rooms have ample space to test the twirl of your new skirt. Equipped with plenty of hooks and comfy benches, be sure to check out the modern floral wallpaper framed on the walls inside the change rooms. With prints being of special importance to Christina, she had searched long and hard to find this wallpaper print that seemed to emulate the spirit of Bergstrom Originals.     

 

Up front in the store, the extra space created is our blank canvas for displaying the seasonal rotation of limited edition, original designs. Today, you’ll walk in to see an array of colours just blooming out of the walls. From graphic florals to spiky chevrons, the new collection just shouts out with warmth and renewal!

 

While it’s still chilly out these days, you’ll want to sport the Westwood Bloom Coat on your ventures outside. Fully lined, this colourful, stretch-twill cover-up livens up your simple jeans and sweater, or compliments a cute dress when you’re out to a special event.

Heading somewhere hot for a getaway while the spring is sorting itself out? You’ll be the envy of your friends in the Sahara Maxi Dress. Made for fun in the sun, this dress looks fabulous paired with soft leather sandals by Bueno and a floppy, wide-brimmed hat. It won’t be too long before we welcome sandals and sundresses here in the city, too!

 

Welcoming back old favourites like the Fairway Tee and Sabrina Jeans, we’ve got bold new pieces like the vintage-inspired Ringwald ensemble and the modern, working-woman Jane Bond Dress - all designed to outfit you through the season. Alongside the new Spring/Summer Collection of clothes, don’t forget to accessorize with our silken scarves and delicate chained jewellery. From an incredible selection of shoes this season - including the newly introduced Bueno collection from Turkey and the Ateliers line from Spain and Italy - you can pick out your everyday sandals and your patio-hopping party shoes. Finally, an array of funky spring bags is available in soft neutrals and springy pastels - as well as the traditionally bold Bergstrom pink!
