Each garment at Bergstrom Originals undergoes a long process of design and development in the studio. We are taking you behind the scenes and into the design studio to have a peek at the making of one of our favourite ensembles of the season: the Bali Tank and Skirt.
It all starts with a swatch of fabric. Ideas swirl, and a concept is put to paper.
Design lines are drafted onto large pattern paper, and a first sample is cut.
We test fit and drape the first sample, and make any notes and changes to the pattern.
Once we are happy with the fit and style, we turn to construction. Stitching and construction methods are integrated into the style to make for a high quality and long-lasting garment.
